Mt Everest Ordeal

Mt Everest and the high HimalayasLincoln Hall was rescued by Mount Everest guide Dan Mazur and his team after being left for dead when he suffered from brain swelling due to the high altitude. According to National Geographic,

Hall, a veteran mountaineer in the Himalaya, was hallucinating but alert when Mazur's team found him on a narrow ridge at 28,000 feet (8,534 meters). The rescue occurred only days after a reported 40 climbers passed ailing Brit David Sharp, who later died of exposure at around 27,500 feet (8,382 meters).
